You always have the best ideas! Love the little artwork ledges. My DIY bought a cutout of my Grandson around Christmas time for around $25 from someone fairly local to us here in TN. It is precious!!!! Can’t wait to see what you decide to put on the wall in the living room. I was thinking maybe a big fluffy white grass wreath.

Speaking as someone who has bought , flipped and sold a couple houses, I would say try to stay as close to whites/off whites as possible and play with texture. Your wood floors will add all the warmth you really need as well as your amazing cushions. I would definitely say NO to the bamboo blinds, I think they might add a heaviness to the exact points where light comes in.
Great video love the changes ur gonna be doing. The housing market here as well has taken a crazy turn just yesterday it was on our local news that a semi/duplex house first day had 53 offers and sold for 300000$ over asking . This is insane we live in a small city in ON Canada and now people from the big cities are selling and moving out here paying cash plus pocketing money . There is no way people can afford to sell and buy something bigger, houses here that 2 yrs ago were 650 000.00 are now 1.2 million this is crazy. Wish u all the best on ur house hunt and Page over here for that 1.2 million u get roughly a 2600sq ft home on alot 40x 120 and u can stick ur arms outside ur side window and shake ur neighbours hand.

Can't wait to see it all come together – my husband and I have the dark brown accent wall too, and you just gave me all kinda life with that brass lighting fixture idea, yaaassss! For the playroom bamboo shades, I think those would be adorable; especially if you could find the same brown tone in baskets for Mila's toys or blankets. A large basket beside the tv stand with toys inside is easily hidden with a fluffy blanket draped across. Beware when buying those baskets, though, cause some are a little prickly. When my daughter was younger and reached in to get her toys, it would rub against her arm and scratch a little. Just rub across it in the store before buying, bc some brands are really smooth compared to others 😉

Girlll you are giving me all the motivation to update our home. We purchased it in 2018 and then got married in 2019 and had my sweet girl in 2020 so long story short I haven’t did ANYTHING to this house lol. I will start making a vision board this weekend lol!

You can use project color app it can match paint colors in your house.
Ooh! I put the name on a piece of masking tape behind the switch plate (to Turn on the light). Then.. used a baby food glass jar to put some touchup paint in… just in case someone bumps the wall .. and nicks it!!
Oh.. painted my office in a smoky lavender( Foxglove). Everyone loved it! Including my “special visitors” convicted Offenders I supervised. They never got agitated… or went off on me… Esp. When I had to arrest them. They acquiesced & took the ownership that they messed up & had to cooperate and be transported to the local
Adult a Detention Center. There is that story out there about a pink Similar to Pepto Bismol chilling out angry Offenders… this worked like that! (was in my abnormal Psych class @ the University.)… check

You can take a patch of your wall to Home Depot and they can color match your paint to find out what color it is. At least that it what an employee told us.
