  11. I work at dq, our ice cream is actually ice cream, it just may not seem that way. You go into the back freezer to get boxes of milk, the milk has all of the ice cream ingredients in it, when it's put into the machine and click freeze on the machine it turns into ice cream. So it can be considered to be called ice milk.

  16. I work at Dairy Queen now. It’s not so bad lol. People know fast food isn’t healthy. They eat it anyway. They don’t care what the label says because they like how it tastes.

  19. No. 1 Scopes has been proven wrong many, many times recently, they are an arm of the Globalist and make claims to fit the anti-American narrative! Yes that is true! No. 2 The creators of this video are working for and I believe paid by very powerful competitors, one minute they fuss about not enough fat in the ice cream even though it is better in texture and flavor and more healthy than many high fat ice creams, then the next moment they rail against the fat in other DQ products. No.3 there are many more deserts higher in sugar than DQ products, and fat and sugar are flavor, though more is not always better. All things in moderation, I mean frequency and amount, tailor that to body weight and health conditions. Occasional treats of good high cal., high sugar, high fat NEVER hurt anyone, now if you live on soda, candy, and high fat food 7 days a week you can expect trouble, but one meal a week at DQ will not hurt you, it will thrill you. My father bought a franchise 51 years and owned 3 along with other investments, but he bought into DQ because of there standards, Quality, Price, Flavor without enhancers like MSG, and comfort from the products, that actually give you energy while traveling, unlike Mcd's and others that make me sleepy, since I travel a lot I've kept a record of meal experiences by franchise and my wife will tell you to see how you feel after eating. The Char-Grills cook a lot of the fat out and impart smoke flavor which is in high demand like Hardee's which I personally love, like the DQ Grill Burgers and we have always used Bakers Pride Gas Grills. But even though some stores use Flat Grills with somewhat more fat in the burger, the flavor is great and I think the texture is better. All that said, ALWAYS go to the bathroom of any restaurant first to wash your hands, and I guarantee if the bathrooms are dirty or smelly the kitchen is worse since they know you don't see much of it and it reflects poor cleanliness overall. Many cultures don't have top hygiene so there is a lag time for some cultures who come and buy in. But DQ uses Ecosure, an international said to be the toughest, that require there inspectors to have a masters degree. Ecosure is one of the most difficult and thorough inspection companies in the world today for restaurants, believe me I have dealt with them many times and there is no mercy with the 20mp cameras! Traveling around the world I have observed the best and the worst rest. conditions, but with DQ and Ecosure you only get one second chance after that you get a letter of intent to cancel your franchise, so don't believe random blogs made to do harm by those paid by the secret competitors, just like evil organizations and politicians who buy votes and pay for untrue scandals!!!*****

  23. 3:00 to explain "…an employee accidentally poured vanilla into a bucket soaking in floor cleaner and degreaser solution"…
    Inside the walk-in fridge, there are 5 gallon buckets used to support the large bags of solution called mellorine (Google it, you'll be amazed at what it actually is -fake ice cream!) that have a tube inserted into them that feeds it into the freezing machine that you can see them fill the cone and give you "The DQ Swirl" on top.
    The one I worked at had a very budget minded shrew for a manager who would have us recycle the pour-off waste from the tap. You see, they always turn on the spigot and run out 30 seconds of mellorine, so that your cone won't get too soggy and lose its bottom and you end up a dissatisfied customer.
    What's in the spigot is not as frozen as what will come after it, because the spigot is not refrigerated – it's not inside the freezer. It's and appendage of the machine, much like your foot is to your leg. Anyway, that is collected in a bowl, tub, plastic container and every couple of hours or whenever that gets filled, it was to be taken to the walk-in and dumped into that other open (not covered usually, if ever) 5 gallon bucket.
    After the bag of mellorine gets used up or maybe half used up, the runoff was recycled or mixed with the half-bag as it was poured into the open bucket, the tube being placed deep into the open bucket with no way to hold it in place except some kind of rig-up job. Many times, the vibration of the suction from the freezing machine out front would make the tubing fall out of the bucket. It was wiped off. And re-used. I saw it. She didn't want me to see it, but when people are evasive or secretive or try to blow me off when I want to earnestly learn exactly how things work so that I know how all phases fit together, so I can pick up the slack or make something easier for the next guy or gal, it chases me…ya know. I get suspicious.
    She wanted us to tell her if the machine quit on us; when it did, she'd go into the fridge and pop back out, telling us to clear the air out of the line (so we could serve pretty cones).
    She really thought I was stupid. Or, maybe wished I was. I discovered what she was doing and tried to have a word with her about it being unsanitary and dangerous, but I was only 17 and she wasn't hearing it !
    She heard all about it and so did the employees and maybe some customers when the inspector I called out came and "discovered" it! Apparently they'd been in trouble over it before. And apparently she wasn't as stupid as I thought she was, she figured it must've been me, because I was quickly fired AFTER I CLOCKED OUT.
    It was obviously a secret that long time employees kept mum about. They always blew me off too, when I was asking questions as to why didn't she just tell us how to reset whatever's wrong , & why do we have to bother her with it anyhow, complaining she treats us like little kids… hah, she had tried to stack things around it and since I was front help, I didnt have any reason to be in the walk-in except that she wanted me to stay out of it and was secretive…and then one day, I had to make up the Dilly bars and had to go in the thing and I discovered the secret recycle bucket with a tube in it!
    Anyway, the shake machine must have a squirter tube for vanilla – I don't remember, my cone serving days were numbered – I don't remember graduating to shake making. I'm sure there must be a bag or bucket for vanilla, just as for mellorine or recycled mel, with a tube leading to the machine and an ill-trained, careless or just plain stupid person was adding to what they thought was "vanilla" -although, I don't know what idiot could think that it was purple and smelly. And why was there a bucket of cleaning solution near the "food"?
    My former DQ was indeed shut down later on that year.

  28. I work at Dairy Queen and it’s all true😂😂 I was never taught how to clean properly and I’m pretty sure we violate every single health violation…. also we have black mold on our ceiling. My manager said the health inspector came in and we got and A… I know that’s not true

  37. I usef to work at DQ there were definetly roaches. I dont recomend anyone ordering food from the back except for fries those were always good and the blizzards are okay too but never order a burger or salad.

  43. Just because a few locations did not fallow safety rules, it does not mean none of them do!
    Think of it like this: If one kid in class is careless with the cupcakes they made- letting bugs crawl on them and household cleaner spill on them, it does not make all the kids careless. It would be unfair to the rest of the class if everybody thought their cupcakes were also unsafe just because one kid's cupcakes were unsafe. a person such as me would never be so careless with food-especially food for other people! It would be unfair to hold all people responsible for being unsafe with food-and it would also be unfair to hold all locations responsible- most locations are well-managed and very safe! Just because a few location do badly, it does not make the whole franchise bad!
